We are looking for an experienced Country Manager Nordics & Baltics to join our Neuromodulation business.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving sustainable growth, increasing market share, and leading commercial operations across the Nordic and Baltic region. Reporting to the General Manager North Europe, you will develop and execute strategic business plans, build high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence while strengthening Abbott's position as a trusted healthcare partner.
What You'll Do
As Country Manager, you will:
Develop and execute commercial strategies that drive sales growth, profitability, and market share across the Nordics and Baltics.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing organization focused on delivering business objectives.
Analyze market dynamics, healthcare trends, reimbursement environments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Build strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders, key opinion leaders, professional societies, patient organizations, and other decision-makers.
Lead business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure alignment of local operating plans with regional and international objectives.
Foster collaboration across functions and divisions to maximize customer value and business performance.
Oversee compliance with Abbott policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and local legislation.
Manage organizational capability, talent development, and succession planning to support future growth.
Represent Abbott's values, reputation, and commitment to innovation throughout the region.
What You'll Bring
Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Finance, or a related field.
Significant commercial experience within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
Proven success leading sales organizations and delivering sustainable business growth.
Demonstrated experience building, coaching, and developing high-performing team.
Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and experience managing financial performance and budgets.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language, with the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment.
A collaborative, results-oriented leadership style with strong organizational skills and the ability to lead through change.
