You are responsible for the general work order maintenance work assigned by your superior, or assisting the Engineering department’s maintenance team in completing other maintenance work. As an Grounds and Facilities Assistant, you’re not just responsible for ensuring the normal operation of hotel equipment – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
Previous experience in gardening, or groundskeeping, or landscaping, or similar outdoor maintenance role.
Strong practical skills across general building maintenance, or plumbing, or electrical, or mechanical work.
Commitment to health, safety, and maintaining high work standards.
A hands-on team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and respond quickly to maintenance needs.
Available to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
Grounds & Garden Maintenance: Maintain the hotel grounds, gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas to a high standard, ensuring the property is presented beautifully at all times.
Hands-On Maintenance: Carry out general maintenance repairs and general upkeep across the hotel, including basic painting, plumbing, carpentry, and repair work to help keep the property in excellent condition.
Equipment & Asset Maintenance: Operate maintenance and gardening equipment safely, reporting faults promptly and ensuring all tools are used and stored correctly.
Pool & Spa Maintenance: Assist with swimming pool and spa testing and maintenance to support guest safety and enjoyment.
