We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President Operations
In This Role, You Will
Lead end-to-end management of the Liquidity Services team across multiple products and global countries, ensuring delivery of Business as usual Production and Deployment ( User Acceptance Testing / Production Verification Testing ) outcomes.
Plan, execute and sign off User Acceptance Testing and Production Verification Testing for new Global Liquidity Solution products and country/functionality rollouts.
Own and continuously strengthen the Centre of Excellence operating framework: procedures, quality checking model, MI/reporting, system set-up and contingency preparedness.
Manage knowledge transfers, release readiness and health checks for major/minor releases to ensure smooth adoption and stable operations.
Ensure consistent service performance across teams: meeting Performance Level Agreement, cut-offs, quality, audit & risk expectations, and driving operational efficiency/process improvements.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder partnerships across Product, Pooling Cash Management and IT teams, including senior decision makers across regions.
Provide effective people leadership: recruitment, training, development, motivation, appraisal, and robust succession planning for key roles.
Manage incidents, financials and governance: timely co-ordination/escalation, accurate performance reporting to standards/regulatory requirements, cost transparency via standard Target Operating Model, and strong Business Risk Control Management/risk/compliance/audit adherence.
To Be Successful You Will
Build in-depth knowledge of Liquidity Centre of Excellence activities, including Global Liquidity Solutions and wider liquidity products/services.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Act as a change leader to drive and implement change within the Payments Business Service.
Make tough decisions with the global strategy and bigger picture in mind.
Proactively identify, pre-empt and resolve bottlenecks with practical solutions under tight deadlines.
Coordinate effectively across multiple HSBC Electronic Data Processing India functions/parties to deliver shared objectives.
Strong analytical capability, including trend analysis/data mining and the ability to interpret numeric data with strong Excel skills.
Delivery mindset: high attention to quality and customer service, effective multi-tasking, self-motivated with minimal supervision, flexible for shifts/weekends, builds strong relationships and learns quickly.
