As a Group, Conference and Events (GCE) Sales Manager, you’re not just driving revenue by leading strategic GCE sales efforts – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Drive GCE revenue: Maximize group, conference, and event sales opportunities through proactive selling strategies and strong conversion of customer inquiries
Optimize business performance: Review business plans, identify revenue gaps, and implement initiatives to fill capacity and meet commercial targets
Lead sales strategy execution: Align departmental activity with the hotel’s selling strategy, ensuring compliance and adaptability to market conditions
Stay ahead of the competition: Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to inform sales tactics and strengthen the hotel’s competitive positioning
Ensure process accuracy: Conduct regular spot checks on bookings to support audit readiness and high-quality execution across systems and procedures
Promote the hotel: Organize and participate in promotional activities to increase visibility and drive GCE business
Inspire and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team
