The following capabilities and qualifications would be advantageous:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Good knowledge of recruitment, payroll, attendance, and benefits administration.
Ability to maintain accurate Team Member records and documentation.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally while maintaining a positive attitude and building strong relationships with Team Members.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Coordinate talent acquisition: Support sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding across hotel departments.
Manage recruitment channels: Liaise with agencies, schools, colleges, universities, and job portals.
Coordinate job advertisements: Ensure vacancies are posted accurately and on time.
Support onboarding and offboarding: Prepare joining and separation documents and complete required checklists.
Maintain HR records: Keep Team Member files, employment records, and HR databases accurate and confidential.
Manage HR systems: Update Team Member information and maintain accurate HR data.
Support payroll administration: Assist with payroll processing, salary changes, deductions, and monthly closing.
Manage attendance records: Maintain attendance and leave records and provide accurate data for payroll.
Administer compensation & benefits: Support salary, benefits, pension, and insurance administration.
Process Team Member movements: Prepare documentation for confirmations, promotions, transfers, salary changes, and resignations.
Monitor manning and headcount: Maintain headcount records and prepare monthly manning reports.
Support visa and work permits: Assist with applications, renewals, and required documentation.
Support Team Member relations: Respond to HR enquiries and provide day-to-day Team Member support.
Support Team Member engagement: Assist with activities, recognition programs, meetings, and engagement initiatives.
Ensure HR compliance: Support compliance with hotel policies, company standards, and applicable regulations.
Maintain confidentiality: Protect Team Member, payroll, and HR information.
Support policies and procedures: Promote awareness of hotel rules, policies, security, and emergency procedures.
Prepare HR reports: Compile recruitment, headcount, attendance, payroll, and HR reports.
Collaborate across departments: Coordinate with department leaders and Team Members on HR requirements.
Support continuous improvement: Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and Team Member experience initiatives.
