Job Description
The Technical Consultant – IRM is responsible for designing and delivering ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management solutions that help customers manage risk, compliance, resilience, and audit processes with measurable outcomes. This role combines platform configuration expertise across Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, BCM/TPRM, Audit, and Privacy Management with strong technical delivery skills across the implementation lifecycle.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, partners, architects, and delivery teams to translate GRC business requirements into scalable IRM configurations, ensure successful delivery, and drive customer value realization within risk and compliance programs.
What You Get To Do In This Role
Lead customer workshops to gather requirements across Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, BCM, TPRM, Audit, and Privacy Management.
Design and configure IRM solutions aligned with ServiceNow leading practices (Entity/Profile Framework, Risk scoring, Control frameworks).
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for IRM modules.
Support implementation activities across the project lifecycle, including data model design, workflows, and integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architects, Developers, Engagement Managers, and Customer GRC stakeholders.
Conduct solution demonstrations, user acceptance testing, and enablement sessions for risk and compliance users.
Help customers optimize risk, compliance, and resilience processes and increase IRM platform adoption.
Identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks throughout IRM implementations.
Contribute to reusable IRM assets, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Continuously develop expertise across IRM product capabilities (Risk, Policy & Compliance, TPRM, BCM, Audit, Privacy) and industry frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT).
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate discovery and solution design workshops for Risk, Compliance, BCM/TPRM, Audit, and Privacy use cases.
Document business requirements, user stories, and process flows for risk and compliance operating models.
Configure and test IRM applications: Risks, Policy & Compliance, TPRM, BCM/Operational Resilience, Audit, Privacy Management.
Support integrations with GRC-adjacent systems (scanners, CMDB, third-party risk feeds, etc.).
Participate in solution validation, testing, and deployment activities across IRM modules.
Ensure solutions align with customer risk appetite, regulatory obligations, and platform best practices.
Provide technical guidance and recommendations throughout GRC engagements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders.
Support project governance, status reporting, and issue resolution.
To be successful in this role you have:
Qualifications Required
4+ years of experience in consulting, SaaS, GRC/risk technology, or related fields.
Experience working directly with customers in a consulting or implementation capacity.
Understanding of risk management, compliance, or audit process analysis and solution design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional English proficiency.
Success Profile
Delivers medium to large IRM customer engagements with limited supervision.
Serves as a trusted advisor for risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders.
Independently leads workshops and IRM solution design discussions.
Provides recommendations based on IRM platform capabilities and industry best practices.
Contributes to IRM practice development and knowledge sharing.
Demonstrates growing expertise across IRM solution area.
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow CIS-IRM. GRC certification.
Experience with GRC frameworks (NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001/27002, ISF SOGP, COBIT).
Experience with integrations, APIs, and data management concepts.
Knowledge of Agile or project delivery methodologies.
English & Spanish proficiency for LATAM-facing roles.
