PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITLIES (Sr Associate Role):
The successful candidate is a team player, has relevant large financial institution experience and can deliver clear, well-structured communications, including presentations to internal constituents, bank committees and regulators. The candidate is expected to utilize their training and experience to:
Perform daily activities of the Program Management/Governance Office for CCAR stress testing program and other quarterly stress testing programs in Capital Management
Maintain a thorough understanding of CCAR FRY 14A reporting requirements; Adapt to and execute changes to regulatory requirements
Perform activities related to FRY 14A on IT platforms involved to produce Stress Testing outputs for CCAR reporting
Collaborate with IT and other support functions to drive implementation of capital planning and forecasting methodologies in production systems
Support all CCAR initiatives and submissions through data capture, consolidation, transformation, reconciliation and analysis
Work with businesses and source system data owners to procure, evaluate, structure and validate appropriate enterprise data for use in financial and risk models and regulatory reporting
Ensure accuracy of outputs produced and adherence to applicable controls
Establish and optimize processes and procedures for managing and accessing large databases, and for repetitive or computationally intensive tasks
Constant interfacing with all relevant parties involved in CCAR to ensure a common and clear understanding of the key issues, inputs required, timelines and interdependencies
Drive automations and continuous improvements across existing processes and tools, and respond to and coordinate with oversight partners to enhance governance and oversight
Provide inputs for presentations and other communications to facilitate management decision making, and clearly document key decisions & feedback from committee review and challenge
Understand key regulatory and business drivers of capital management and decision making and their impact on overall Treasury and corporate wide risk metrics and performance
Complete ad-hoc assignments as needed, and demonstrate willingness to work collaboratively with other team members to meet departmental objectives on or ahead of schedule
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree, MBA strongly desired
5+ years of financial services experience, experience in stress testing/regulatory reporting, capital management and/or banking regulations preferred
Prior knowledge of the CCAR or any other US regulatory reporting process is highly preferred
Prior experience in handling finance or regulatory systems and large and complex data sets
Program management experience and high attention to detail
Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Wdesk, PowerPoint, Word, and other reporting/visualization tools
Strong oral and written communication skills; comfortable presenting results to key stakeholders and senior management
Willingness to work as part of a global cross-functional team
Understand use of AI tools like Co-pilot and adaptable to the change environment
Strong multitasking skills, ability to successfully manage a number of work streams to deadlines and standards of quality
Willing and able to quickly learn new applications and programs utilized by the Capital Management team for analysis and CCAR document submission
