Role Description The Associate Agency Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and developing agency partners, ensuring they understand and effectively promote Axis Max Life’s protection and savings solutions. Day-to-day activities include guiding agents on sales processes, monitoring performance against targets, supporting field activities, and conducting regular training and coaching sessions. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for product updates, compliance requirements, and customer service support, while maintaining accurate records of agency activities and outcomes. The Associate Agency Development Manager is expected to contribute to sustainable business growth through strong relationship management and consistent execution of sales strategies.
Qualifications
Proficiency in agency development and field sales, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of agents.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with agency partners, internal teams, and customers.
Solid understanding of life insurance products, protection and savings solutions, and need-based selling approaches.
Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train, coach, and motivate agency partners.
Analytical and planning skills to track sales metrics, interpret performance data, and execute targeted action plans.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage field activities, and adapt to a dynamic, target-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; prior experience in life insurance or financial services is preferred.
Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM or sales tracking tools to maintain reports and documentation.
