Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Renewable Energy Engineer role based in Latur. The Renewable Energy Engineer will design, develop, and optimize renewable energy systems, with a focus on wind and solar projects, aligned with JSW Energy’s operational and sustainability goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site assessments, performing technical and feasibility studies, supporting project planning and execution, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring performance of installed systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer will also prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to support internal stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Renewable Energy Systems and the broader Energy Industry.
Hands-on experience with Wind Energy technologies, project design, or performance analysis.
Knowledge of Solar Power and Solar Energy systems, including design, installation, and optimization.
Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or Renewable Energy Engineering).
Proficiency in engineering design tools, data analysis, and energy modeling software.
Familiarity with Indian power sector regulations, grid integration, and safety standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams in Latur.
Prior experience in utility-scale or industrial renewable energy projects is an advantage.
