The System Validation Engineer is responsible to verify the product and it’s features from a customer system point of view.
This role allows you to broaden your technical scope and gain extensive product know-how, especially in the area of NFC (near field communication).
Your Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the definition of a testplan based on product/system requirements
- Create and verify system test cases according a testplan
- Analyze, optimize and maintain existing test cases
- Drive and run system tests both automated and manually
- Document test cases, test results and problem reports
- drive issue debugging in an international, cross discipline project team
- Drive further innovating of our daily way of working
- Maintain and extend NFC/UWB system test environment
Your Profile:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in systen validation, preferably in the semiconductor industry
- Good skills in Python and/or other scripting languages
- Good knowledge of C programming language and Microcontroller
- Experience with test automation&management
- Experience with laboratory equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, …
- Experience with standard interface like SPI, I2C, UART…
- Experience with version control tools
- Strong analytic skills
- Accurate and well-structured way of working
- Reliable and autonomous working style
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Team player, working in a diverse and international team
Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
