Responsibilities:
Design and evolve scalable automation frameworks using TypeScript, WebdriverIO, and Appium.
Build robust UI, API, regression, smoke, and end-to-end automation.
Develop reusable automation utilities and improve framework scalability, stability, and execution speed.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and drive reliable, fast feedback.
Debug automation failures and identify whether the root cause is a product defect, environment issue, or framework problem.
Partner with developers, product, and QA teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Contribute to test strategy, release readiness, defect triage, and automation best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and drive improvements in overall automation maturity.
Explore AI-powered testing and modern automation approaches to reduce manual effort.
Requirements:
5-8 years of hands-on QA automation / SDET experience in a product environment.
Strong TypeScript + WebdriverIO + Appium experience.
Strong programming, OOP, framework design, and debugging skills.
Experience with REST API automation and CI/CD.
Proven experience building or significantly contributing to automation frameworks.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to Have:
Playwright experience.
AI/GenAI-based testing or automation solutions.
Fintech, trading, payments, or other high-transaction product experience.
Cloud-based browser/device testing platforms.
