Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based in Faridabad. The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, coordinating resources, optimizing processes, and resolving operational issues to minimize downtime. The role involves leading and developing production teams, monitoring performance metrics, enforcing safety and compliance procedures, and collaborating with maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering functions. The Production Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement projects, cost control initiatives, and implementation of best practices in line with EKL’s operational goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong production and operations management skills, including capacity planning, workflow optimization, and shop-floor supervision.
Candidates should possess process improvement and quality management skills, such as familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and standardized work practices.
Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills, including team development, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Candidates should possess technical and analytical skills, including understanding of manufacturing technologies, data analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
Candidates should possess coordination and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in operations or quality are an advantage.
Prior experience in production management within agri-machinery, automotive, or heavy engineering manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, MS Office tools, and safety and compliance standards applicable to manufacturing plants.
Ability to work on-site in Faridabad, adapt to dynamic production conditions, and maintain a focus on safety, quality, and delivery.
