ROLE CONTEXT
Vedanta Zinc International (VZI) operates
in competitive global zinc and concentrate markets. Sales performance,
pricing discipline, revenue assurance, freight management and market exposure
directly influence profitability, cash flow and shareholder value.
The Sales Financial Accountant (D2) acts
as the key link between Finance, Sales & Marketing, Logistics, and Shared
Services to ensure the integrity of revenue accounting, working capital
management, and financial reporting and support Sales Financial Controller.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To provide accurate accounting,
financial control, revenue assurance, and reporting support across the sales
value chain. The role is responsible for ensuring revenue transactions are
recorded accurately, customer contracts are correctly reflected in financial
records, month-end reporting is completed in a timely manner, and all
sales-related accounting activities comply with IFRS, statutory requirements,
and company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Revenue Accounting & Revenue Recognition
