ROLE CONTEXT
Vedanta
Zinc International (VZI) is driving a company-wide transformation agenda
focused on improving operational performance, increasing productivity,
enhancing asset utilization, optimizing costs, and delivering sustainable
business value across Mining, Processing, Engineering, Commercial, Projects
and Enabling Functions.
To
support this agenda, VZI has established a Transformation Office (TO) that
serves as the central performance management and execution engine responsible
for converting operational opportunities into measurable business outcomes.
The Transformation Office provides governance, performance visibility, value
assurance, initiative management, and leadership decision support across the
organisation.
The Manager: Business
Improvement & Transformation Office (D4) is responsible for coordinating the Transformation
Office, driving business improvement initiatives, managing the transformation
portfolio, establishing performance management disciplines, ensuring value
realization, and enabling data-driven decision making across the business.
The role acts as the primary integrator between initiative owners, workstream
leads, Finance, operational leadership, and the Chief Transformation Officer
(CTO).
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To
lead the day-to-day operation of the Transformation Office by establishing
performance management disciplines, managing the business improvement
portfolio, tracking value delivery, coordinating executive governance
processes, and ensuring transformation initiatives deliver measurable and
sustainable results across VZI.
