Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, sewage, and plumbing systems throughout the hotel.
Attend to plumbing faults, leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and other maintenance requests promptly.
Carry out preventive maintenance of pipes, valves, pumps, water heaters, tanks, toilets, showers, sinks, and related equipment.
Inspect plumbing systems regularly and identify potential issues before they lead to major breakdowns.
Respond to guest room, public area, kitchen, staff area, and back-of-house plumbing complaints.
Repair and maintain sanitary fixtures, faucets, flush valves, mixers, and other plumbing fittings.
Support the Engineering team during renovations, room maintenance, and new installations.
Monitor water tanks, pumps, and related systems and report any abnormalities to the Engineering Supervisor.
Maintain proper drainage systems and ensure that wastewater and sewage lines are functioning effectively.
Work closely with Housekeeping, F&B, Stewarding, and other departments to resolve plumbing-related issues.
Maintain adequate stock of plumbing tools, spare parts, and materials and report requirements to the supervisor.
Follow all hotel safety procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, and local regulations.
Maintain accurate records of completed work, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe after completing maintenance tasks.
Assist in emergency situations such as major water leaks, pipe bursts, flooding, or drainage failures.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer.
