Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in API Testing, Microservices Testing, and Test Automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Tosca Automation, along with experience validating complex microservices-based architectures. The candidate will work closely with development and business teams in an Agile environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for APIs and microservices-based applications
Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites using Tosca Automation
Validate RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices interactions across multiple systems
Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and coverage needs
Execute integration testing to ensure seamless communication between applications and services
Log, track, and manage defects using Jira and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
Maintain test documentation, test evidence, and project artifacts in Confluence
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
Collaborate with developers, business analysts to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills
4–6 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
Strong hands-on experience in API Testing and Microservices Testing
Mandatory experience with Tosca Automation
Experience testing REST APIs
Strong understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle management, and quality assurance processes
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Good understanding of integration testing concepts and methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Finance domain
Exposure to modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation projects.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience working with cloud-based and containerized applications.
