Job Description of Position Incumbent
Planning and coordination of entire mining operations, such that production/mining targets (from quality and quantity) of limestone are achieved to meet the requirement of the cement plant. Preparation of Mine Plan, knowledge of mining software.
Prepare plans for mine development as per long-term/short-term strategy of mine development such that the mine operations are cost effective and help the use of maximum reserves maintaining quality of limestone.
Plan, maintain and controlling operation and maintenance cost within the budgeted parameters. Working knowledge of SAP.
Review and coordinate for compliance of statutory requirements related to mine operations, e.g., safety standards, labor laws, blasting norms, explosives storage, mineral concession, state government regulations, environmental norms, etc.
Build and sustain a conducive work culture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth and motivation levels of employees by organizing various initiatives in the unit.
Ensure implementation of ISO/EMS/WCM/DuPont Safety systems in the department through involvement of people for improving plant performance and quality standards
