About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive PF Electrical (Cement Mill) professional to ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of Cement Mill electrical systems. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment reliability improvement, energy optimization, and adherence to electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of Cement Mill electrical systems including HT/LT motors, VFDs, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, switchgears, and auxiliary equipment.
Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
Analyze electrical faults and recurring failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with Operations and Mechanical teams during shutdowns, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, LOTO procedures, and statutory regulations.
Monitor power consumption and support energy conservation and optimization initiatives.
Manage critical spares inventory and maintain maintenance records through SAP/CMMS.
Participate in commissioning, modification, and modernization projects related to Cement Mill electrical systems.
Ensure healthiness and calibration of protection systems, motors, drives, and process-related electrical equipment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, productivity, and overall plant performance.
Preferred Experience
Experience in Cement, Manufacturing, Process, or Heavy Industry.
Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, motors, drives, transformers, and switchgear maintenance.
Familiarity with SAP/CMMS maintenance systems.
