Description
Amazon India is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and analytical internal communications specialist to join our operations business team. This role is at the heart of how we connect with and engage our Operations workforce across India.
The successful candidate will develop and implement compelling communication and engagement campaigns that bring to life the stories of Amazon India Operations, encompassing Amazon Customer Fulfillment and Amazon Transportation Services. You will play a critical role in shaping how our associates and employees experience Amazon as an employer of choice.

Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan for Amazon MEATR Operations
Execute internal communications plans for new programs, policies, organizational changes, and operational updates
Manage communication channels and monitor channel performance through data and metrics
Proactively identify emerging topics, trends, and issues, developing timely communication plans in response
Partner with stakeholders at operation sites to facilitate execution of internal communications during issues, crises, and critical business moments
Collaborate with translation agencies to ensure all communication materials are accurately and appropriately localized for associates across the region
Actively integrate Amazon's core business values, Leadership Principles, and strategic initiatives into everyday communications
Continuously identify opportunities to Invent and Simplify, creating scalable mechanisms and consistent communication experiences for employees

The Operations Internal Communications (OIC) team informs and inspires Amazon's global Operations workforce. We deliver strategic communications that help employees stay connected, engaged, and proud to be Amazonians.

Providing communications support during urgent and emerging situations
Helping employees understand their safety, pay, benefits, and career opportunities
Through targeted content across our internal channels, we ensure the people who deliver for Amazon's customers feel connected to our mission and each other.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Exemplary written and oral communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences
Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel communication strategies (including radio, digital screens and mobile apps) and for multilingual audiences (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in communications or equivalent
Experience relevant experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertising, or experience in an operational role
Experience working with global cross-functional teams
Experience handling agencies and managing multiple stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
