Design Engineer — Structural Steel (PEB / Multi-Storey / Infrastructure)
We are a structural steel fabrication and erection company executing PEB, multi-storey and infrastructure projects across northern India. We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of analysis, design and detailing from concept through to fabrication-ready drawings.
What you'll do
Model, analyse and design steel structures in STAAD.Pro and ETABS — PEB sheds, multi-storey framed buildings, and infrastructure structures.
Prepare design calculations and load assessments (dead, live, wind, seismic, crane) in accordance with IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893 and IS 456.
Design bolted and welded connections, base plates and bracing systems; issue GA and fabrication drawings.
Review approval and IFC drawings for constructability, coordinating with fabrication and erection teams so designs are economical to make and safe to erect.
Support estimation with MTO and tonnage inputs at the tender stage.
Attend site and shop visits as required and resolve design queries during execution.
What we're looking for
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering; M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred.
3–8 years of design experience in structural steel, with exposure across PEB, multi-storey and infrastructure projects.
Working proficiency in STAAD.Pro and ETABS; AutoCAD essential. Tekla Structures an advantage.
Sound command of IS codes and limit state design; familiarity with international standards is a plus.
Practical understanding of fabrication and erection methods, and the ability to communicate design intent clearly to non-design teams.
