Position Purpose
Drive process improvement across the end-to-end supply chain to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Improve operational efficiency and reduce process lead times.
Analyze supply chain data to identify performance gaps and support data-driven decisions. Improve forecast accuracy, reduce stockouts and overstock situations
Support implementation of best practices and digital tools in procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory. Increase automation and system utilization, reduce manual errors
Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, production, and finance teams to align on priorities. Enhance on-time delivery performance to above 95%, strengthen internal service level agreements
Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through supplier performance improvement and inventory optimization. Deliver annual cost savings of 3–5%, reduce inventory holding costs
Participate in strategic projects such as network optimization, sustainability, and digital transformation. Achieve carbon footprint reduction targets and improve supply network resilience
Strategic Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities
Conduct root cause analysis of supply chain issues using tools like Pareto, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams and resolve systemic bottlenecks and reduce issue recurrence rates.
Monitor KPIs and dashboards to track performance in procurement, logistics, planning, and inventory. Ensure key metrics (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, COGS) meet or exceed targets
Lead or support continuous improvement (CI) projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies. Deliver measurable results through structured CI efforts (e.g., DMAIC)
Support data quality and system accuracy in ERP, MRP, and supply chain tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis). Maintain data integrity; improve system-driven decision accuracy.
Benchmark internal processes against industry standards and recommend optimization strategies. Align with best-in-class supply chain practices
Prepare and present findings to leadership with actionable insights and recommendations. Drive executive decision-making with clear, impactful analysis
Collaborate on cross-functional workshops and kaizen events to generate improvement ideas. Engage stakeholders and promote a culture of operational excellence

Functional Competencies
Knowledge in Data modelling and simulation (e.g., using tools like Llamasoft, AnyLogic), Predictive and prescriptive analytics, Demand forecasting and inventory optimization KPI dashboards and visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Expertise in ERP and SCM system expertise (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis), Supply chain digitization (IoT, RPA, AI/ML applications), Integration of supply chain technologies (e.g., TMS, WMS, MES) & Digital twin and control tower concepts
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies, Process mapping and reengineering, KPI development and performance management, Standard operating procedures (SOPs) creation and enforcement
