Job Summary
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to drive business growth for the Retail Unsecured Direct business in Nellore. The role will be responsible for customer acquisition, sales target achievement, team management, market expansion, and maintaining the quality of the sourced portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets for the assigned territory.
Lead and manage the direct sales team and ensure consistent productivity.
Generate new customer leads through market visits, references, field activities, and other direct acquisition channels.
Drive sourcing and disbursement of unsecured products such as personal loans and other applicable retail lending products.
Develop strong relationships with customers, local businesses, and other relevant market stakeholders.
Identify new market opportunities and expand customer acquisition across Nellore and nearby locations.
Monitor individual and team performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
Recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales executives to improve productivity.
Ensure proper documentation, KYC, process adherence, and quality sourcing as per company guidelines.
Coordinate with Credit, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure smooth processing and disbursement.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
Maintain portfolio quality and ensure responsible sourcing practices.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and provide regular updates to management.
Candidate Profile
3–7 years of experience in sales, preferably in BFSI, unsecured lending, personal loans, consumer finance, or related sectors.
Experience in managing a direct sales/field sales team will be preferred.
Good knowledge of the Nellore market and surrounding areas.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets consistently.
Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-management skills.
Good understanding of customer acquisition and field sales processes.
Comfortable with extensive field work and target-driven environments.
Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing will be an advantage.
