Requirements:
8+ years of experience designing and leading backend systems at scale.
Strong experience with APIs (gRPC, REST).
Proficiency in Go (preferred), Python/Django, or Java/Spring.
Strong CI/CD and DevOps experience.
Experience building cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
Ability to choose appropriate technologies considering cost and trade-offs.
Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
Ability to define SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Strong leadership in agile environments and mentoring.
Familiarity with security best practices, encryption, access control, GDPR, and ISMS.
Technology Stack:
Language: Go.
Cloud / Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Storage, Pub/Sub).
Configuration Management: Terraform.
Monitoring: Datadog, OpenTelemetry.
CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Docker, Pact, and Testcontainers.
