Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources is a full-time, on-site role based in Kurla. This position is responsible for supporting end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee records management, and HR documentation. The role involves assisting in performance management processes, supporting training and development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements. The Assistant Manager Human Resources will handle employee engagement activities, address basic employee queries, and help implement HR best practices aligned with organizational goals. Collaboration with department heads and senior HR leadership to improve processes and support workforce planning is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong HR operations and administration skills, including experience in recruitment support, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
Candidates should possess skills in performance management and employee engagement, with the ability to coordinate appraisals, feedback processes, and staff welfare initiatives.
Candidates should possess knowledge of HR policies and statutory compliance, including labor laws, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
Candidates should possess proficiency with HRIS or HR-related software tools, along with solid MS Office skills for reporting and data analysis.
Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate HR specialization or MBA in HR is an advantage.
Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare organization, or in a similar Assistant Manager HR role, will be beneficial.
