Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for data-related projects utilizing Databricks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing any issues that arise.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Databricks best practices and methodologies.
Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare reports for senior management.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills
Strong expertise in Databricks, including data processing, analytics, and machine learning capabilities.
Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Databricks.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
Experience in leading teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Databricks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data projects.
Demonstrated experience working with Databricks in a professional setting.
