DevOps Engineer - GCP & Apigee
Location: Remote / On-site (Location Specific)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Apigee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and API management solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of DevOps practices and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
Manage and optimize API management solutions using Apigee.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement security best practices and compliance measures in cloud environments.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to DevOps, GCP, and API management.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a deal breaker.
Proficient in API management using Apigee.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK stack).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Certifications in GCP or related technologies are a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in DevOps engineering or related roles.
Proven track record of successful project delivery in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
