Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing data-driven projects and a strong expertise in Databricks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, delivering complex projects on time and within budget, and leveraging Databricks to drive data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for data analytics projects utilizing Databricks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and project management.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Databricks, including data engineering and analytics capabilities.
Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10-13 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data analytics and Databricks.
Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
