Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing data warehouse projects, specifically with a strong emphasis on Snowflake Data Warehouse (DW) technology. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive project success.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for Snowflake DW implementations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
Ensure adherence to best practices in data management and Snowflake DW architecture.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
Mandatory Skills
Strong expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse technology.
Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and data integration tools.
Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
13-16 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data warehousing and analytics.
Demonstrated experience in leading Snowflake DW projects.
