Job Description: Business Analyst - Capital Markets
Location: Mumbai (Only Mumbai-based candidates)
Experience: 5-8 (Relevant experience in Capital Markets domain)

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst (BA) with strong expertise in Capital Markets and excellent stakeholder communication skills. The ideal candidate should possess deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, front-to-back office processes, data analysis, and SDLC methodologies. The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver strategic and regulatory initiatives across Capital Markets functions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Work closely with business users, product owners, development, QA, and project teams.
Analyze trade and transaction data across the Capital Markets ecosystem.
Understand and map end-to-end trade lifecycle processes from Front Office to Middle Office and Back Office.
Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
Support UAT activities, defect management, and production rollouts.
Ensure requirements traceability throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
Collaborate with technology teams to ensure successful implementation of business solutions.
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process flows, use cases, and business documentation.

Preferred Skills
Experience working with investment banks, brokerage firms, asset management firms, or financial services organizations.
Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
Exposure to data warehousing, data mapping, and system integration projects.
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and project management tools.
