Role Description CELFCARE is looking for a creative and technically skilled Web Developer Intern to support the development, design, optimization, and maintenance of our e-commerce website and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Shopify websites and a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles. Experience working with a skincare, beauty, cosmetics, or D2C brand will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and customize the CELFCARE Shopify website.
Work on Shopify themes, sections, templates, and website customization.
Create responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing website layouts.
Improve the overall UI/UX and customer journey across the website.
Design and optimize product pages, landing pages, collection pages, and other website sections.
Ensure accurate product information, images, content, and brand messaging across the website.
Optimize website speed, performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
Identify and fix website bugs and technical issues.
Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic Shopify/Liquid customization.
Support basic back-end integrations and third-party Shopify apps.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Design, and Content teams.
Conduct regular website testing and ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
Suggest new ideas and improvements to increase website engagement, conversions, and overall customer experience.
Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, e-commerce trends, and UI/UX best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
Hands-on experience working with Shopify websites is mandatory.
Knowledge of Shopify themes, customization, sections, apps, and basic Shopify Liquid is preferred.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and modern web design.
Experience working with a Skincare, Beauty, Cosmetics, Wellness, or D2C brand is highly preferred.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Basic understanding of front-end and back-end web development.
Experience creating responsive websites for desktop and mobile devices.
Understanding of website speed optimization and basic SEO principles.
Familiarity with website debugging and testing.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of premium brand aesthetics.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work full-time and on-site from our North Delhi office.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who has already worked on Shopify websites and understands how an e-commerce website should look and perform. Candidates with experience working for skincare, beauty, cosmetics, or other consumer brands will be given preference.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating premium, user-friendly digital experiences and should have a strong eye for website design, UI/UX, and e-commerce conversion optimization.
