Role Description The Reporter role at Proftcode is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information about the company’s products, projects, and industry trends, and transform it into clear, engaging news-style content. Daily tasks include interviewing internal stakeholders and clients, covering product launches and company events, and producing articles, reports, and multimedia stories for internal and external channels. The role involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to ensure accurate messaging, monitoring relevant tech and business news, and maintaining editorial standards for all published content. The Reporter is expected to meet deadlines consistently, manage multiple assignments, and contribute ideas for new stories that highlight Proftcode’s impact.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, including research, fact-checking, and story development.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interviews, stakeholder coordination, and clear presentation of complex topics.
Candidates should possess solid Writing skills, with the ability to craft concise, engaging, and accurate content tailored to different audiences.
Candidates should possess basic Multimedia skills, such as creating or coordinating visual and audio elements to support stories.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field are preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, manage multiple stories under tight deadlines, and maintain high editorial standards.
Familiarity with technology, business, or startup ecosystems and experience using digital publishing tools or content management systems are beneficial.
