Role Description: This is a full-time, remote role for All Language Translators at Indicloc. Translators will be responsible for accurately translating written and sometimes audio content between source and target languages while preserving meaning, tone, and context. Daily tasks include reviewing source materials, performing translations, and conducting quality checks to ensure terminology, style, and formatting meet client and industry standards. Translators will collaborate with project managers and other linguists, follow established glossaries and style guides, and deliver assignments within agreed timelines. The role also involves researching subject-matter terminology, adapting content for local audiences, and using translation tools and platforms required by Indicloc.
Qualifications
Strong linguistic skills in at least two languages, including advanced reading, writing, and comprehension abilities.
Proficiency in translation practices, including text translation, localization, and adaptation for different cultural contexts.
Experience using computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and other translation or terminology management software.
Ability to research and apply accurate terminology in fields such as legal, finance, healthcare, technology, or other specialized domains.
Attention to detail with strong skills in proofreading, reviewing, and ensuring consistency and quality across documents.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with project managers, clients, and other team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Previous experience as a professional translator or interpreter, especially in enterprise or industry-specific projects, is an advantage.
