Role Description The Part Time Mentor role at PPStack is a remote position focused on guiding learners through their educational and career development journeys. In this role, the mentor provides one-on-one and group mentoring sessions, supports learners in understanding course content, and offers practical insights related to digital skills, technology, and career growth. The mentor reviews learner progress, provides constructive feedback on projects and assignments, and helps individuals create learning roadmaps aligned with industry expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include hosting virtual sessions, answering learner queries, sharing resources, and collaborating with the PPStack team to improve learning outcomes and mentoring frameworks. This is a part-time remote role, requiring consistent availability during agreed time slots and a commitment to learner success.
Qualifications
Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with experience supporting students or early-career professionals in technology or digital fields.
Solid understanding of digital skills and modern tech domains (e.g., AI/GenAI, Python, data, cloud, or related areas), with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear guidance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to provide constructive, actionable feedback.
Comfort with remote work tools and digital collaboration platforms, including video conferencing, online learning systems, and messaging tools.
Prior experience in education, training, career coaching, or corporate mentoring is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as technology, data, business, or education.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and support for diverse backgrounds and career goals.
