Role Description This full-time Electrical Design Engineer role is an on-site position based in Indore. The Electrical Design Engineer will develop and review electrical system designs, including power distribution layouts, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications for pharmaceutical and industrial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, supporting project managers with technical input, and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role also involves reviewing vendor drawings, participating in design reviews, providing support during installation and commissioning, and preparing technical documentation and reports. The engineer will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure practical, cost-effective, and compliant electrical solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, with experience creating detailed drawings and specifications.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity principles, including safety standards and applicable codes.
Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution systems, including load calculations, system protection, and equipment selection.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience in industrial or pharmaceutical projects, including familiarity with GMP environments, is an advantage.
Ability to interpret technical documents, use CAD or electrical design software, and prepare clear engineering reports.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
