Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Joyshree Powerol will oversee day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to strategic objectives. This full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati involves leading cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices across sales, service, and supply chain activities. The COO will collaborate with the leadership team to drive business planning, manage budgets, and support financial performance targets. Responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, identifying operational risks and opportunities, and enabling continuous improvement initiatives. The role also requires fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and customer-centricity throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Strong business planning and strategic management skills, with experience in defining and executing growth initiatives.
Proficiency in operations management, including process optimization, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, diagnose issues, and make evidence-based decisions.
Solid understanding of finance and budgeting, including cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Proven leadership and people management abilities, including team development, stakeholder communication, and change management.
Experience in manufacturing, power solutions, or related industries is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site in Guwahati and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
