Role Description The Barista role at The Fresh Factory is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the Barista prepares coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming guests, operating espresso and brewing equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized service area. The Barista supports a smooth café operation by restocking supplies, following food safety and hygiene guidelines, and collaborating with team members during busy periods. This role also involves explaining menu items, answering guest questions about ingredients, and contributing to a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming, guest-focused café experience.
Candidates should possess Barista skills, including operating coffee equipment, preparing espresso-based drinks, and ensuring consistent beverage quality.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, taking accurate orders, and coordinating with team members.
Candidates should possess basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail food environment is preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays), and handle a fast-paced environment.
