Role Description The Senior AI Engineer will design, build, and optimize systems that influence how large language models discover, evaluate, and recommend brands. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, focused on developing scalable AI pipelines, integrating LLMs into production applications, and improving model performance for real-world business use cases. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting and implementing ML and LLM-based solutions, analyzing data to refine algorithms, collaborating with product and marketing teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, and ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency of deployed models. The role also involves staying current with advances in AI, proposing new approaches, conducting experiments, and mentoring junior engineers to maintain high engineering and research standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in machine learning engineering, including model development, evaluation, and deployment.
Candidates should possess expertise in large language models and generative AI, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and LLM integration into applications.
Candidates should possess solid software engineering skills, such as proficiency in Python or similar languages, API development, and working with modern frameworks and tools.
Candidates should possess data-related skills, including data processing, feature engineering, and working with structured and unstructured datasets.
Candidates should possess experience with cloud platforms and MLOps practices for versioning, monitoring, and maintaining AI systems in production.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in building and deploying AI solutions at scale, preferably in product-focused or startup environments.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including fairness, transparency, and privacy, is highly beneficial.
