Electrical Engineer with construction field experience

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Engineer with construction field experience, based in Bengaluru. The Electrical Engineer will design and review electrical layouts, power distribution schemes, and system specifications for construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing drawings and documentation, coordinating with site teams and contractors, supervising installation work, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards. The role involves conducting site inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, supporting testing and commissioning activities, and updating designs based on field conditions. The Electrical Engineer will also collaborate with project managers and other engineers to support planning, cost estimation, and quality control.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals.
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including creating layouts, schematics, and technical documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution, including designing and reviewing LV/MV distribution systems.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems, including load calculations, protection coordination, and system reliability.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Proven construction field experience, preferably in building or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction documents.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work on active job sites.
Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
