Company Description Angels Foundation is a Child Development Centre in Gurugram that supports children with diverse developmental needs through a multidisciplinary team of certified Occupational Therapists, Special Educators, and Speech Therapists. The center focuses on identifying the root causes of challenging behaviors and developmental delays, rather than only addressing surface-level symptoms. Interventions are designed from the “bottom up,” emphasizing holistic development and individualized plans for each child. Angels Foundation offers a collaborative, child-centered environment where professionals work closely with families to promote meaningful progress and independence.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech and Language Therapist based at Angels Foundation in Gurugram. The therapist will conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs, and design individualized therapy plans for children with special needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions, maintaining detailed documentation of progress, and adjusting interventions based on ongoing evaluation. The role involves collaborating with Occupational Therapists, Special Educators, and families to ensure integrated care, providing parent and caregiver training, and participating in case discussions and team meetings. The therapist is expected to contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages children to reach their developmental potential.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Speech Therapy and management of Speech-related concerns.
Candidates should possess skills in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
Candidates should possess skills in evaluating and managing Dysphagia and related swallowing difficulties.
Recognized degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy / Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Registration or licensure with relevant professional bodies, as required by local regulations.
Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum conditions, or other neurodevelopmental differences is preferred.
Strong observation, documentation, and case management skills, with the ability to develop individualized therapy plans.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with a multidisciplinary team and engaging families in the therapy process.
