Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Privacy Specialist located in Bhubaneswar. The Data Privacy Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and practices to ensure compliance with various privacy regulations and frameworks. Daily tasks include monitoring and advising the organization on data privacy laws, conducting assessments, and managing data privacy risks. The role also involves acting as a trusted advisor to internal teams and clients on privacy-related issues and supporting the implementation of privacy compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Privacy Regulations and deep understanding of Privacy Compliance frameworks
Strong knowledge of Privacy Policies and ability to craft and manage their implementation
Analytical skills to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and propose effective solutions
Expertise in Data Privacy, with experience in managing compliance for GDPR, DPDP, or similar regulations
Strong communication and advisory skills, with an ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or equivalent are a plus
Previous experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or a similar domain is advantageous
