Role Description The Jr Advocate will support senior attorneys with case preparation, drafting, and research in a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing briefs and case notes, drafting pleadings and other legal documents, and assisting with client consultations under supervision. The Jr Advocate will coordinate with court staff, help manage case files and documentation, and support in hearings and conferences as required. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, monitoring case progress, and contributing to the development of legal strategies. Collaboration, attention to detail, and adherence to ethical and professional standards are essential.
Qualifications
Strong legal research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and legal precedents.
Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, petitions, written submissions, and case summaries.
Effective communication skills, including clear written advocacy and professional client interaction.
Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple matters, maintain case files, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with court procedures, filing processes, and basic litigation workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; enrollment with a Bar Council is preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Ability to work collaboratively with senior counsel and team members in a fast-paced legal environment.
Prior internship or entry-level experience in litigation or advisory practice is an advantage.
