Job Description: OneTrust CMP Consultant
Experience - 6 years to 10 years
Location - Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Coimbatore
Notice Period- Immediate / upto 30 days
Key Responsibilities
Assess the existing CMP setup, including consent models, cookie categories, banners, preference centres, geolocation rules, scripts, vendors and regulatory requirements.
Execute migrations from an existing CMP or custom consent solution to OneTrust.
Map existing cookie categories, consent purposes, vendors, regional rules and banner configurations to OneTrust.
Configure and manage OneTrust consent banners, preference centres, cookie categories, geolocation rules, templates and translations.
Configure OneTrust Auto-Blocking or other appropriate script-blocking mechanisms.
Perform website scans and review the classification of cookies, trackers and technologies.
Configure and manage A/B tests for OneTrust consent banners.
Review A/B testing results and work with relevant stakeholders to support banner optimization.
Troubleshoot issues related to OneTrust banners, preference centres, cookie classification, website scans, script blocking and consent signals.
Coordinate with tag-management, analytics, development and testing teams to support the implementation of consent requirements.
Prepare migration documentation, configuration records, deployment plans and operational support guides.
Support production deployment, post-migration activities and ongoing OneTrust maintenance.
Mandatory Skills and Experience
Hands-on experience with OneTrust Cookie Consent and Website Scanning modules.
Proven experience migrating websites from another CMP or custom consent solution to OneTrust.
Experience configuring OneTrust consent banners, preference centres, consent models, cookie categories, geolocation rules, templates, and translations.
Experience configuring or supporting A/B testing for OneTrust consent banners.
Understanding of A/B testing concepts, test variants, success metrics, reporting and banner optimization.
Strong understanding of cookie consent management and privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA.
Knowledge of cookies, trackers, scripts, local storage, consent signals and browser developer tools.
Experience conducting cookie audits and reviewing OneTrust website scan results.
Ability to analyse existing CMP configurations and create accurate source-to-target migration mappings.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript for implementation support and troubleshooting.
Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting and stakeholder-management skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with tag-management platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Experience Platform Tags
Familiarity with analytics and advertising technologies such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel.
Knowledge of Google Consent Mode.
Knowledge of the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.
