Role Description As a Python Intern at CosmoQuick, you will support the development and enhancement of platform features using Python-based tools and frameworks. On a typical day, you may assist in writing clean, reusable code, building and testing scripts or APIs, and troubleshooting bugs under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will collaborate with team members to analyze data, automate workflows, and improve internal tools that power the marketplace experience. This internship role is remote, allowing you to contribute from your preferred location while participating in virtual stand-ups, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions. The internship is designed to help you grow your practical Python skills and gain exposure to real-world product development in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Foundational Python programming skills, including working with data structures, functions, and modules.
Basic experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and familiarity with collaborative coding workflows.
Understanding of software development fundamentals such as debugging, testing, and code documentation.
Exposure to web technologies or APIs (e.g., HTTP requests, JSON handling) is beneficial.
Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and apply feedback to improve code quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and reliability in meeting commitments.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
