Role Description The 3D Designer Intern will support the design team in developing 3D visualizations and models for interior spaces and branded environments. This internship role is hybrid, with primary work based in Mumbai and some flexibility for work-from-home tasks as assigned. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating 3D models, applying materials and lighting, preparing renderings and animations, and assisting in visual presentations for client and internal reviews. The intern will collaborate with designers and project managers to translate concepts and technical drawings into clear, accurate 3D outputs aligned with project requirements. The role also involves iterating on feedback, maintaining organized design files, and contributing creative ideas that enhance Kaizeng’s design-to-delivery process.
Qualifications
Ability to work with 3D Design and 3D Modeling tools to create accurate spatial representations.
Skills in Lighting and basic Animation to produce realistic, engaging visualizations.
Foundational Graphic Design capabilities to support presentations, mood boards, and design documentation.
Familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, Rhino, or similar 3D tools; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Animation, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail, visual sense, and ability to interpret design briefs and technical drawings.
Effective communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, structured project environment.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Mumbai, manage time well, and respond constructively to design feedback.
