Role Description The Hub Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the parcel hub in Hyderabad in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role includes planning and supervising parcel receipt, sorting, storage, and dispatch to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The Hub Manager monitors staffing levels, assigns duties, and supports team members to maintain productivity, safety standards, and compliance with company policies. The role involves tracking key performance metrics, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with drivers, partners, and customer support to address delays or exceptions. The Hub Manager also implements process improvements, manages inventory of packaging and equipment, and prepares regular reports for management on hub performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong operations management and logistics coordination skills, with experience overseeing hub, warehouse, or distribution center activities.
Ability to lead, train, and motivate on-site teams, including shift planning, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
Proficiency in using basic computer applications and logistics or parcel management systems for tracking, reporting, and documentation.
Sound problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills to handle high-volume, time-sensitive operations.
Clear and professional communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, drivers, and customers.
Knowledge of safety practices, compliance standards, and quality control procedures in a hub or warehouse environment.
Previous experience in parcel services, courier, transportation, or related logistics fields is highly beneficial.
Relevant education in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent practical experience.
