Role Description The Assistant Manager at Sunspot Solar is a full-time, on-site role based in Mahesana. This position supports daily operations, including coordinating staff schedules, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that customer commitments are met on time and to quality standards. The Assistant Manager helps oversee inventory, assists with basic financial and administrative tasks, and maintains accurate records related to installations and services. The role involves working closely with the management team to implement policies, support team performance, and resolve operational issues. The Assistant Manager also communicates with customers and vendors, helping to address inquiries, manage expectations, and strengthen long-term relationships.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate schedules, tasks, and project timelines.
Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise teams, with skills in coaching, delegation, and performance follow-up.
Solid communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with customers, team members, and vendors.
Basic understanding of business operations, including record-keeping, inventory control, and simple financial tracking.
Comfort with using computers and office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email, and basic project tools).
Ability to work on-site in Mahesana, maintain reliability in attendance, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and support continuous improvement.
Prior experience in operations, administration, retail, or a related supervisory role is preferred.
Interest in renewable energy or prior exposure to the solar sector is an advantage but not required.
Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
