Sr. Backend Developer (Java)

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and relational databases, with a solid understanding of software design principles and cloud-native application development.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
Develop and implement microservices architecture.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Work in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise applications.
Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in Java backend development.
Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Strong knowledge of REST API development.
Experience with Microservices Architecture.
Strong understanding of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
Experience with Maven or Gradle.
Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
Experience with Git for version control.
Knowledge of JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.
Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
Familiarity with JWT, OAuth 2.0 and API security best practices.
Understanding of Docker and containerized deployments.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
