About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will own the end-to-end delivery of complex, user-facing features from early UX discussions and architecture design to implementation, testing, and performance optimization. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to turn business goals and sometimes ambiguous requirements into scalable, high-quality frontend solutions. Beyond writing code, you will help shape frontend architecture, influence technical decisions, and raise the overall quality and developer experience of the team.
Responsibilities:
Design and build frontend applications using modern technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with strong ownership of code quality, maintainability, and performance.
Own the frontend codebase and continuously improve delivery practices by refining testing, code reviews, and release readiness to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement features, evolve the platform, and deliver a high-quality user experience.
Lead frontend architecture and design for new features and UI flows, including decisions around state management, API integration patterns, and performance optimization (e. g., pagination, caching, rendering strategies).
Work with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage trade-offs between UX, delivery speed, and technical complexity, and define realistic delivery milestones.
Act as a frontend technical leader by setting standards for code quality through thoughtful code reviews, mentoring, and promoting best practices in testing, accessibility, and observability.
Take ownership of frontend systems in production, including performance monitoring, stability, and continuous improvement.
