DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:
Individual contributor role focused on development and delivery of technology solutions.
Provides technical expertise and advisory support to peers and business partners.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of experience.
You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science and/or a related field.
5+ years in a development role leading projects and designing solutions.
Demonstrated experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL MI, JAVA 17 J2EE, Oracle (11g or higher), JavaScript, JSON, XML, Visual Studio Code, PostgreSQL, SQL, Power BI, Azure APIM, IBM MQ, ADLS, Azure MSI/MUI, Azure RBAC, and Azure NSG.
Experience building and integrating with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs.
Experience with different data storage solutions, e. g., Delta Lake, databases, etc.
Experience with data export/import from different SQL Server offerings and ADLS.
Conducting performance tuning for Azure SQL MI.
Solid understanding of the inner workings of indexes, partitions, data files and expertise in SQL query optimisation.
Experience working with waterfall methodology.
Experience with incident, problem, and change management.
Strong verbal & written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to articulate yourself clearly to technology partners.

Good to Have:
Knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, and Artifactory is an asset.
Knowledge of Single Sign-On is an asset.
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies is an added advantage.
Understanding of large value payments and Wires, SWIFT, ISO 20022 LVTS/Lynx is also an asset.
