Senior Fullstack Engineer

Amura is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, building scalable systems, and taking complete ownership of features from design to deployment. You'll work across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and scalable systems, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to build technology used by people globally.
Responsibilities:
Build scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS).
Develop web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
Design scalable architectures and own features end-to-end.
Work on performance, caching, async processing, and scalability.
Build microservices and event-driven systems.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform reliability.
Work with DevOps on CI/CD, deployments, and automation.
Maintain high-quality, production-grade code.
Requirements:
4-7 years of backend engineering experience.
4+ years of experience with React and/or React Native.
Strong JavaScript skills; TypeScript preferred.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with Redis and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS.
Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Git and CI/CD.
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, debugging, and performance optimisation.
A strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
